Scott Goddard

Customer Experience Manager, In-Vehicle Commerce Experiences at General Motors

Scott Goddard is the business lead for In-Vehicle Commerce Experiences at General Motors.  Over the last seven years Goddard has held marketing, operations and product management positions for GM’s suite of consumer-facing commerce apps, designed for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles.  With the connected car becoming a new frontier for consumer transactions, GM has built Marketplace, the industry’s first in-vehicle platform that brings merchant’s digital experiences safely to drivers’ fingertips – with just a tap on the dash. 

 

Prior to GM, Goddard held roles as Director of Strategic Partnerships at a Silicon Valley software start-up and Senior Partner Manager at Amazon Web Services. Goddard has more than 15 years of experience in solving customers’ needs through innovative technology and new partner relationships.

 

Goddard holds a bachelor degree from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing at Wayne State University.
