Holly Thomson

Digital Product Strategy Leader, Wells Fargo

As part of the Auto Digital Strategy and Innovation team, Holly leads the strategy and roadmap development for Wells Fargo Auto’s direct-to-consumer digital capabilities.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Thomson worked at Ally Bank where she was responsible for leading several successful business transformations, including the redesign of Ally Auto Consumer and Dealer Services, as well as the shift to agile practices. She was instrumental in building an award-winning UX team while at Ally and led the team that won a Forrester “Outside In” Award for the UX design of Ally’s Mobile Banking App. Earlier in her career, she spearheaded the first low-to-moderate income mortgage marketing program at Bank of America. She also has experience in leading product, UX, creative services, marketing, and channel services teams.

Holly earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Organizational Communication from Marshall University, and completed her Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University in the spring of  2022 with her dissertation on Digital Transformation and the role of UX.
